Elliott has officially earned the nickname Mr. Mischief. Everyone warned us, and now he has officially entered the “getting into everything” phase! David and I have tried to be consistent about telling him “no” and redirecting him to play with his toys, but he finds our deep-toned voices and our efforts at discipline hilarious. Let me tell you, it is really difficult to keep a straight face when a 10 month-old laughs at you for slapping his hand! I suppose we’ll all get the hang of it sooner or later!
He even has a Mr. Mischief t-shirt!
“Hmmm…what could these be for?”
Chewing on the dog’s toy under a cabinet.
This cart was quickly reorganized to be more baby friendly!
“I think this chair would look much better over there!”
Why is it so much more fun to take things apart than it is to put them back where they belong?
“This is way more fun than playing with toys!”
If you ever need some copies made, I know someone who would love to do it!
“If…I…just…stretch…a…little…bit…further!”
This may look cute, but this is Elliott trying to outsmart the barracade I created in front of the mound of computer wires/electrical cords in that corner of the room!
Proof that Elliott can open containers with lids now.
“Clean up on isle 3, Maverick!” (I wish I had gotten a picture of the two of them competing to get to the spilled puffs!) By the way, if you have a baby, but don’t have a dog, you should consider getting one. They make excellent vacuums.
Stuck…but not really. He figured out how to get in, and he knew exactly how to get out, too!

Different kid, different house, SAME problem….and if Pate can’t quite get it open or reach it….Aggie “helps.:!!!!!!!
