Much to be thankful for

img_3538_2.jpg

We celebrated Thanksgiving in New Bruanfels, TX with David’s family. Papa & Grandmother were so gracious, as always, to share their home with us. The Mitchell’s served an amazing meal at their house, and afterwards we all went for a walk down to the river. It was chilly, but the walk was well worth it. The river is beautiful this time of the year! Elliott is a pretty good traveler. He got fussy at times, but we tried to stop as often as we could to let him eat and stretch his legs. We might need to work on stopping less…the drive to New Braunfels normally takes us 4 1/2 hours, but we managed to stretch it 8 hours on the way home!

The Welches are thankful for:

  • A merciful, faithful, & loving God
  • Elliott’s smile & contagious laughter
  • A loving family
  • A warm house & food on the table
  • Friends, old & new
  • Jobs that we enjoy
  • Beautiful sunsets in Fort Worth
  • The caring people of Fort Worth PCA
  • The hope we have in Christ Jesus, our Lord
  • clear
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 118:1
