Elliott’s first Easter

But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.” So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they cam up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. Matthew 28: 5-9

O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:55-56

We celebrated our first Easter with Elliott today. What a blessing he is to us! And, what a blessing we have in Jesus’ resurrection. Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15

On Saturday we gave Elliott his first Easter basket. He had a lot of fun playing with the eggs inside of it, and it made for some really cute pictures! Click here to view Elliott’s First Easter slide show.
