Sweet Success

Last weekend our family traveled to New Braunfels, TX, for a family wedding.  It was the first time we have been out of town since Elliott has been sleeping through the night.  In other words, his “schedule” was in greater danger of being totally messed up compared with when he was a newborn, eating and sleeping around the clock.  We drove down Thursday night while Elliott was sleeping, and we were able to transfer him from carseat to pack n’ play without any issues.  I worried that sleeping in the same room with him would be a nightmare…instead it was sweet dreams for all three of us!  He also napped like a champion while we were there.  On Sunday he napped most of the way home and was a sweet angel while awake.  What a good boy we have!  And to think I spent all of that time fretting over nothing.  I have to say that this trip was a sweet success!  Hmm…where can we go next??

I wish I had taken more…ahem…better pictures while we were gone, but this was the best we could do.  Friday afternoon we went to Landa Park and rode the minature train with Nonnie.  Elliott had a ball!

  1. I’m so happy that Elliott was a good traveler for you guys! Baby’s sleeping (or non-sleeping) schedule can totally make or break a trip.

Give E a big hug and kiss from Bennett and me!

  2. We’ve got to talk…I LOVE that dress…where did you get it?
