San Antonio

We decided to take a long weekend trip to San Antonio during our 3 weeks of “homelessness” to help pass the time and it just so happened that it fell on Elliott’s 2nd birthday.  At first I was sad that the timing worked out that way, but after thinking it over, we decided that the trip would be a really neat way to celebrate Elliott.  We found all sorts of fun things to do that were just perfect for a 2-year-old.

This was our first family vacation as just the three of us and we had such a great time.  Elliott slept like a champ in the hotel room and was a real trooper throughout.  He and David put up with all of the activities I had planned for us.  I am so glad we were given the opportunity to go.  Thanks, mom and Dave!  We will cherish the memories we made in San Antonio!

And, because there were just too many pictures to include in a blog post I created a video for us to remember them by.  Enjoy!

  1. Tricia & David,
Thank you for sharing that sweet sweet montage. Elliott is such a tender hearted, smart, and beautiful boy. You make us wanna go to San Antonio right now – ha! I’m glad y’all had a fun family vacay.
Ya know, he is a perfect mixture of you both. There were many pictures where I thought he looks a lot like David, yet there are moments when he favors his momma. What a gem!!
Thanks, again, for sharing the pics. Ya made me cry a little, but I sure enjoyed watching. See ya soon. We wanna check out this tree house we hear about!!

  2. LOVE IT!!!! You got some amazing photos that make me want to be more creative.

I loved when you woke him up singing and he laid back down in the bed. LOL.

What a delight your sweet boy is! Thanks for sharing.

  3. 1) Goats are scary, huh?

    2) MoMak’s looks like fun! So much fun that I’m pretty sure B couldn’t have been bothered to eat food at such a place.

    3) Tricia, you are so pretty!

    4) Love the diaper-clad gift opening. Perfect.

    5) I love your family! Thanks for sharing!
