Day at the Museum

Since David had some time off around Christmas we decided to make a trip to the museum.  Grandma came along, too, and we had the best time!

We always, always stop to visit this dinosaur grazing outside the museum.

One of the first stops we made was to make an automata sculpture.

We spent a long time decorating this quaint little gingerbread house with all kinds of glittery things.

Thank goodness for an extra set of hands!  David spent most of the time following wild man Jude around wherever he wanted to go.

And, of course we stopped by the dinosaur room so that Elliott could build a dinosaur on the computer and work the big dinosaur bones puzzle.  He’s a pro by now!

Love the museum for great photo ops!

Afterward we had lunch at the Flying Fish.  It’s one of our favorites and it never fails to please!

Good times!

  1. Those Elliott smiles are just the cutest! I love how proud he is of his puzzle skills.

  2. I can’t get over it – Jude’s hair really is red, and it really is here to stay! 🙂 Yay for redheads! He is soooo cute! (as is Elliott, too, of course!)

  3. That is so fun!
