Butterflies in the Garden

We took advantage of yet another Groupon deal and got to visit the Botanic Garden’s Butterflies in the Garden exhibit for the first time.  I took the boys one day while David was at work and we had so much fun.  It’s days like these that remind me how much I enjoy getting to be at home with them.  I know it won’t be long before they are grown and these will be cherished memories.

On our way in they handed Elliott a pamphlet with an array of butterflies that we might see inside the exhibit.  He took it upon himself to stop and check each one off when we came across it.

This guy was particularly neat because he had see-through spots on his wings.  Neato!

Both boys did a great job of “looking, but not touching” the flying beauties.

Apparently butterflies love to feast on rotting fruit.  Makes for a pretty picture I think.

On our way out we stopped to see this guy and admire the fountains.
