Benjamin’s first movie

Not a lot has been said about Benjamin so far on this blog so I’m going to make things right and post a bit about him.  The kids, especially Jude, have really been enjoying watching home movies lately.  It’s not uncommon for Jude to ask 20 times in a row to “see baby Jude”.  It’s sweet.  And, although it’s annoying at times to sit with him and let him view the videos while trying to keep him from destroying the computer, it makes me happy that all of the hard work I put into making them is paying off.  At least someone wants to look at them besides me!

Anyway, seeing how much joy they bring to the kids, and to myself, I got inspired to put together a video for Benjamin….from the moment we first found out about him through his first month!  What a whirlwind that first month was!  On his 9th day of life we celebrated Elliott’s 5th birthday and actually had a real party!  And, on his 12th day of life he visited Medieval Times!  It was noisy, noisy, and I still can’t believe we made it happen with a newborn.  I’m so glad that we did.  Our sweet third-born has brought us so much joy over these (almost) last 6 months.  He is a very smiley, happy guy.  He rarely coos or “talks”, but prefers instead, to squeal and laugh to get our attention.  The boys, and all of us for that matter, are head over heels in love with him.  Now if he would just learn to sleep better he’d be the perfect baby!  But, more on that later.

Without any further ado, I give you Benjamin Donald Welch’s first movie!
